Watch: Trubisky, Watson post near-identical 40-yard times
For quarterbacks, the 40-yard dash is nowhere near as important as it is for other positions, but it still doesn't hurt for top prospects to run a fast time.
Deshaun Watson and Mitchell Trubisky - widely considered the top two quarterbacks in this draft - were separated by just one-hundredth of a second, with Watson officially timing in at 4.66 seconds and Trubisky at 4.67 seconds.

Texas A&M quarterback Trevor Knight's 4.54-second run was the fastest time among quarterbacks, while Tennessee's Joshua Dobbs came in second at 4.64 seconds, and Watson and Trubisky were third and fourth, respectively.
The other two quarterbacks expected to go in the first round, Patrick Mahomes and DeShone Kizer, posted times of 4.80 seconds and 4.83 seconds, respectively.
