Watson, Trubisky both believe they can be NFL starters right away
For a quarterback class deemed weak by many, this year's crop of pass-throwing prospects isn't short on confidence.
Clemson's Deshaun Watson and North Carolina's Mitchell Trubisky are considered by most to be the top two quarterbacks available, and both believe they have the talent to be NFL starters in their rookie seasons.
Asked whether he thin he could be ready to play in year one, Trubisky replied, "I do," according to ESPN's Jeff Legwold.
Trubisky added, "I'm confident in my abilities and what I can bring to whatever team that selects me. ... I have the tools to be successful in the NFL.''

While Trubisky has come under fire for making just 13 starts in his college career, Watson started 36 games at Clemson, including two national championship games. Leaning on his winning record in college, Watson also said he believes he can start as a rookie.
"I think so,'' Watson said. "I'm going to prepare myself for every moment so if I have to play early, or right away, then I'm going to be prepared for that moment and come in and produce and help a team out to win.''
