Jason Garrett expects Doug Free back, unaware of retirement talk

After his 10th season in the NFL, Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle Doug Free is reportedly considering retirement, but head coach Jason Garrett hadn't heard.
"I do not know of any talk of retirement in regards to Doug Free," Garrett told the team website Wednesday. "We had a good visit after the season."
Free hasn't missed a start since 2014, and Garrett believes any consideration of retirement is a normal step in the offseason for veterans as they recover from another grueling NFL campaign.
"He, like all the players - they wanted to get away for a little while, then get themselves recharged and come back to work," said Garrett. "I don't anticipate anything other than that."
