Barnes appears to confirm Warriors deal with Instagram post

One player's pain can often be another's gain in professional sports, and in the aftermath of Kevin Durant's unfortunate knee injury, it appears Matt Barnes will benefit.
It was reported late Tuesday that Barnes, who was waived by the Sacramento Kings last week, would sign with the Warriors for the remainder of the season, as Golden State preferred a swingman rather than point guard Jose Calderon in the wake of Durant's injury.
Barnes all but confirmed the news with the Instagram post above, recalling his previous stint with the Warriors, when he teamed up with Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson, among others, to help topple the 67-win Mavericks in the 2007 playoffs.
