Kyrie Irving notched an assist to help one child fulfill his hoop dreams.
The Cleveland Cavaliers star donated $6,500 to 8-year-old Jahlil Owusu to help fund his travels for AAU basketball.
The honor roll student started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the travel expenses he'll incur as a member of the 9U Riverside Hawks, which is based in New York City. Owusu said his parents can't afford to pay all the fees, and originally set a goal of $2,500.
Irving, who previously played for a New Jersey-based AAU program called the RoadRunners, encouraged the talented little baller.
"Yessir little bro!! Enjoy the trip and do well!!" the 24-year-old All-Star commented on one of Owusu's posts.
