The coincidence of playing at Michigan - his home for four years - on Senior Night made Spike Albrecht chuckle, but the Purdue guard plans to keep a straight face during Saturday's game.

"(Saturday) night's all about them and their seniors, what they've done for their program and for the Michigan basketball family," Albrecht told reporters Friday. "I'm going to do what I do and we're going to try to go in there and take care of business."

Albrecht transferred to the Boilermakers for his fifth season after he was, essentially, recruited out of a scholarship by the Wolverines.

The oft-injured guard is averaging career-lows in many offensive categories this season, including points (1.8), assists (1.3), and field-goal percentage (25.7), but sits atop the Big Ten standings with the rest of his new teammates.

"It'll definitely be weird, going back and having a different uniform on but I'm looking forward to it," said Albrecht. "I've had a lot of great memories in Crisler (Center), so I'm looking forward to getting back there and seeing some familiar faces."

Albrecht added that he's still close with many of his former Michigan teammates, but will wait until after the game to catch up with them.

Purdue enters the contest with a 23-5 record, one game ahead of reeling Wisconsin and two games up on Maryland for the conference lead.
