Watch: Mickelson uses wedge to avoid mid-green bunker at No. 6

If there's ever a player you'd root for to miss it in the wrong spot at Riviera's par-3 sixth, it has to be Phil Mickelson.
Mickelson's tee shot landed just off the dance floor, but faced an unfavorable portion of the putting surface, as the hole features a bunker in the middle of the green.
Unable to putt it close to the hole, Lefty elected to pitch a wedge shot across the green to within four feet.
Unfortunately, he was unable to covert the putt for par.
