Watch: The Strongest's Pablo Escobar booked after only 9 seconds

Pablo Escobar inevitably holds a wealth of anecdotes. The Bolivian attacking midfielder's namesake was a drug lord and cocaine kingpin whose worth is said to have been in the region of $30 billion. He was even asked about his name in an interview with La Tercera on Thursday, to which he responded: "They call me the Patron of good."

But, while Escobar might claim to be good, he was anything but in the first leg of the tie between The Strongest and Union Espanola in the third stage of the Copa Libertadores.

It took only nine seconds for Escobar to be booked, as the 38-year-old was shown a yellow card after colliding with Pablo Galdames immediately after the referee, Enrique Caceres, blew the whistle.
