State Farm’s All-Star Saturday Night will transpire on Saturday, February 18 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. The evening will showcase the annual Skills Challenge, 3-Point Contest and fan favorite Slam Dunk Contest, which brings top names like DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis, Kristaps Porzingis, Isaiah Thomas and Kyrie Irving to the Big Easy.
With a slew of big names on the bill Saturday night, the warm-up event to Sunday’s All-Star Game will be a hot ticket to come by. Since TicketIQ began tracking resale ticket data in 2010, three other years posted higher ticket prices than this Saturday’s event. 2013’s showdown at Toyota Center in Houston owned a $1,385 average and $432 get-in price while last year’s affair at Air Canada Centre clocked in at a $1,543 average and $415 asking price. 2015’s event at Barclays Center in New York fetched the highest prices, averaging a cool $2,169 and the cheapest tickets listed from $464 each.
The night begins with the Skills Challenge and features Devin Booker, DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis and John Wall, to name a few. Klay Thompson will defend his title in the following 3-Point Contest against top competitors Kyle Lowry, Eric Gordon and CJ McCollum. The marquee Slam Dunk Contest will showcase the aerial assault of Aaron Gordon, DeAndre Jordan, Glenn Robinson II and Derrick Jones Jr.
