Ball's insane 3 helps UCLA complete 19-point comeback vs. Oregon

Lonzo Ball didn't score 92 points like his younger brother did in a high school game the other night, but he did nail a 3-ball from another area code Thursday, helping UCLA overcome a 19-point deficit and beat Oregon 82-79 at home.

Ball drilled the step-back after driving to the basket for a pretty layup that gave the Bruins a five-point lead on the previous possession.

After getting off to a slow start against the Ducks, the freshman sensation finished the night with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and an assist.

He also played shutdown defense on Oregon star Dillon Brooks for much of the second half. Brooks torched UCLA in the first half and helped the Ducks build their 19-point lead.

Ball received assistance from Aaron Holiday down the stretch, as the sophomore guard came up with some clutch buckets as well.

The 10th-ranked Bruins improved their record to 22-3 with the win, while the fifth-ranked Ducks fell to 21-4. UCLA avenged its loss against Oregon from earlier in the season, when Brooks knocked down a game-winning jumper.
