Espanyol's Hernan Perez: Dealing with nasal fracture

Perez's status for Friday's match against Real Sociedad is in doubt after he suffered a nasal fracture in last week's match, Futbol AS reports.

Analysis:

Perez was forced to leave last week's match versus Malaga in the 62nd minute because of the injury and could be held out to allow the fracture time to heal properly. Marc Roca and Felipe Caicedo are the likeliest men to enter the lineup for Perez if he sits out.
