Minnesota United announced Wednesday the club has acquired Bashkim Kadrii on a one-year loan from FC Copenhagen, bringing on the Denmark winger ahead of the team's inaugural campaign in Major League Soccer.

Kadrii, 25, is the fourth player from Scandinavia to join the club, along with Norway's Vadim Demidov and Sweden's Mohammed Saeid and John Alvbage in Adrian Heath's expansion side. Kadrii is of Albanian decent but was born in Denmark and has played for the Danish national team.

"Bashkim is another really good attacking piece we have added to the club. He's fit and healthy and ready for a new challenge," Heath said in a club-issued statement. "He can play any of the forward positions, left, right and through the middle. He's got an eye for goal and good pace and we are really excited to have him."

Kadrii joined his hometown FC Copenhagen in 2014 and went on to make 27 appearances, scoring three goals, helping the team win the Danish Superliga in 2015-16 and the Danish Cup in 2014-15 and 2015-16, too.
