Picks
1-10 | 11-20 | 21-32

21. Detroit Lions - Taco Charlton, EDGE, Michigan

Staying in Michigan to make the jump to the professional level, Charlton joins Ziggy Ansah in rounding out what's recently been an uneven Lions pass-rush. He racked up 10 sacks and 13.5 tackles for loss as a senior.

22. Miami Dolphins - O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama

Both a high-level receiver and a capable blocker, Howard appears to be the rare well-rounded tight end prospect. Such a player who can threaten the middle of the field and help a porous offensive line could be a missing piece in Miami.

23. New York Giants - Tim Williams, EDGE, Alabama

Jason Pierre-Paul bolting in free agency would leave a massive void opposite Olivier Vernon. Williams is a highly productive pass-rusher, and adding some size could allow him to man the edge in an every-down role.

24. Oakland Raiders - Budda Baker, S, Washington

The Raiders shouldn't be afraid to go safety in the first round for a second straight year. Baker would be a perfect fit alongside Karl Joseph in providing a young foundation of playmaking talent in the defensive backfield.

25. Houston Texans - Garrett Bolles, OT, Utah

Houston turns its attention to the offensive line with all of the top quarterbacks long gone. Bolles could start at right tackle for however many years Duane Brown has left on the other side.

26. Seattle Seahawks - Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida

Offensive line is an easy pick here, but it's long been clear that the Seahawks don't consider investing in that group to be a priority. Going with Wilson brings aboard a potential starter across from Richard Sherman, addressing a spot that's been a revolving door in recent years.

27. Kansas City Chiefs - Zach Cunningham, LB, Vanderbilt

Derrick Johnson is likely no sure thing to be back in time for Week 1, but inside linebacker should be considered a glaring need for Kansas City either way. Cunningham can make an impact in coverage, run defense, and as a pass-rusher.

28. Dallas Cowboys - Takkarist McKinley, EDGE, UCLA

Another suspension for Randy Gregory leaves the Cowboys without much of a pass-rush looking ahead. Though McKinley was a linebacker at UCLA, he has the size and skill set to make a smooth transition to 4-3 end.

29. Green Bay Packers - Carl Lawson, EDGE, Auburn

Julius Peppers, Nick Perry, and Datone Jones are all heading for free agency, and Clay Matthews' $15-million cap hit makes him a potential cut candidate. Lawson, who racked up 9.5 sacks and 14 tackles for loss as a junior, bolsters an edge-rush situation riddled with uncertainty.

30. Pittsburgh Steelers - Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama

The Steelers' offense is set. The defense, particularly in the secondary, is an entirely different story. Humphrey could rise to the top of an underwhelming cornerback group from the beginning of his rookie camp.

31. Atlanta Falcons - Jaleel Johnson, DT, Iowa

Atlanta now has its cornerstone defender after the 2016 breakout of Vic Beasley. That defensive front will be a nightmare for opposing offenses if an interior pass-rusher of Johnson's caliber is added to the mix.

32. New England Patriots - Curtis Samuel, RB/WR, Ohio State

Is Samuel a receiver or running back at the next level? If there's one team that could make the most of his talent at both spots, it's almost certainly the Patriots.
