NFL commissioner Roger Goodell was effusive in his praise of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his head coach Bill Belichick during Monday's Super Bowl MVP award ceremony in Houston.

Goodell acknowledged the duo as standard-bearers for the league, pointing out the five Super Bowl titles and four title-game MVPs for Brady. He then called Brady up to the podium.

The commissioner pulled Brady by the sleeve to get him in position for photographs and shared some smiles and small talk with the quarterback, but they notably did not shake hands.

Goodell then stood for pictures with Belichick and the Lombardi Trophy.

This appears to be the end of the drama between the trio ... that is until the Patriots host Goodell at Gillette Stadium for the banner raising in the 2017 season opener.
