Hadwin moves up leaderboard with second-round 66

"It was a huge surprise," Hadwin said of the group. "But one I looked forward to when I saw it. I knew it was going to be a a lot of fun, the crowds were going to be big."
The Canuck made five birdies and an eagle to move into contention heading into the weekend at TPC Scottsdale.

The 29-year-old added three more birdies on the back nine, but threw a bogey on the card at his finishing hole.
"I played a great round of golf today, a little disappointed on the finish at nine," he said. "I had a good look for birdie there too, and to three-putt. I'm a little sour note, but I'm right back in the tournament."
