Grady Jarrett ties Super Bowl record with 3 sacks

Brett Davis / USA TODAY Sports

Grady Jarrett enjoyed a coming-out party on football's biggest stage.

The Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle was a nightmare for the New England Patriots' offensive front throughout Sunday night's game, applying consistent pressure and notching three sacks of Tom Brady.

With the trio of quarterback takedowns, Jarrett tied the likes of Reggie White, Darnell Dockett, and Kony Ealy for the most in a single Super Bowl.

The 2015 fifth-round pick could have been an intriguing MVP candidate if the Falcons held on for the win, but the Patriots emerged victorious in overtime after staging a 25-point second-half comeback.
