The childlike genius who overcame Los Galacticos is back at the Camp Nou.

On Thursday, Barcelona and Ronaldinho reached an agreement whereby the smiling Brazilian will become a club ambassador and representative at various events and activities for the coming years. The product of Gremio will also form part of the Legends project, which is comprised by a team of former players who will help the Blaugrana to globalise its brand and values, and take part in clinics, training sessions, and institutional events.

Ronaldinho, who pulled on Barcelona's shirt between 2003 and 2008 before Pep Guardiola got rid of him, will work with the Blaugrana through FCBEscola. They will seek different ways to collaborate in terms of the brand and possible associations with the same. Appearances will be made at opening and closing ceremonies at some schools, and he will take part in activities to share his experience in educational talks.

After the announcement, Ronaldinho published a video on Twitter alongside a caption: "Barcelona, I'm coming!"

Ronaldinho joined Barcelona from Paris Saint-Germain in 2003 and went on to tally more than 200 appearances for the Blaugrana, helping the club capture two La Liga crowns and a Champions League title. His infectious style of play left supporters in awe on a weekly basis and he played a part in Lionel Messi's growth.

The agreement will be signed Friday at the Camp Nou. Josep Maria Bartomeu, Barcelona's president, will be in attendance.
