Report: Wilson Chandler wants out of Denver
Forward Wilson Chandler is unhappy with his role with the Denver Nuggets and would welcome a trade, league sources told USA Today's Sam Amick.
It's not known if Chandler has asked for a trade, the report states, but the nine-year NBA veteran moved to a reserve role in December and has mostly been coming off the bench since.
In 44 games this season, he's averaging a career-high 15.4 points on 45.1 percent shooting.
Chandler would be a logical candidate for a move out of the Rockies given the Nuggets' roster balance. The team is currently in ninth place in the West, fighting for a playoff spot, but would likely consider moving contracts such as Chandler's or those of Kenneth Faried or even Danilo Gallinari.
Chandler is owed $12 million next season with a player option for 2018-19
