Lions quietly unveil revised logo, wordmark; new uniforms coming soon

Without fanfare, the Detroit Lions updated their team website and social media accounts with a new logo and wordmark on Wednesday.
The new marks are very similar to the old ones, but the color black has been removed and the font altered.

Hours later, the Lions confirmed they are planning a full rebranding that will remove the color black from the team's visual identity. The new uniforms will be unveiled April 13.
