The Oakland Raiders' plan to move Las Vegas has been hit hard as of late, and the shots keep coming as investment bank Goldman Sachs withdrew its financial support for a potential stadium on Tuesday, sources told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.

Goldman Sachs' withdrawal comes on the heels of billionaire Sheldon Adelson's decision to pull out of the project as well. The Raiders had recently informed the league that the investment bank had offered to help finance their new stadium, seemingly due to knowledge that Adelson could potentially leave.

Adelson was previously expected to contribute $650 million of the $1.9 billion needed to fund the stadium. The billionaire, who made the bulk of his money through casinos, claimed he was shut out of negotiations for the lease with Clark County Stadium Authority. The Raiders were reportedly increasing their financial commitment to the proposed venue to $1.15 billion.

Now that Adelson and Goldman Sachs have withdrawn, the potential move to Las Vegas is in doubt.

Officials from San Diego have reportedly reached out to inquire if the Raiders would be interested in a move to the city recently vacated by the Los Angeles Chargers. An Oakland group led by Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott also professed its commitment to helping the Raiders stay in the Bay Area on Tuesday.
