Lazio's Ravel Morrison given 2nd chance at QPR

Ravel Morrison will stay with Queens Park Rangers on loan until the end of the season, with the Loftus Road outfit holding an option to acquire him permanently in the summer.

The 23-year-old forward has never fulfilled the promise he showed as a Manchester United trainee alongside the likes of Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard due to various disciplinary issues, and shifts to London after being largely anonymous for two years at Lazio.

Morrison, who was training with former United coach Warren Joyce at Wigan Athletic, had a successful loan spell at QPR in the latter half of the 2013-14 season, scoring six goals in 15 appearances to help the club to promotion.

"I am really pleased to be back here," Morrison told the QPR website.

"It's a great opportunity for me to come back and hopefully find the form I showed the first time around.

"I am ready to work hard and focus fully on playing for Rangers."
