Conor McGregor sat down for more than an hour Saturday at the EventCenter in Manchester, England, to do an interview that aired live on pay-per-view, and he was his typically boisterous self.

While the UFC lightweight champion didn't reveal anything new about himself or his plans, he put on a show for all of the PPV buyers and the 5,000-plus packed into the exhibition center.

Here are some of the best moments from the broadcast:

Bruce Buffer in the building ... sort of

Before the interview even started, McGregor let it be known this would be a special occasion with a pre-recorded message from UFC announcer Bruce Buffer. As McGregor took the stage, Buffer's voice was heard introducing him as both the undisputed lightweight and featherweight champion, disregarding the company's refusal to allow the fighter to hold both titles.

Floyd Mayweather in his sights

McGregor didn't pull any punches when it came to discussing Floyd Mayweather. He said he plans to fight the boxing superstar in either late 2017 or early 2018, and added a flurry of colorful comments:

  • "I have my eyes on one thing, and that's Floyd Mayweather."
  • "Me and Floyd have got to get together and talk and figure it out the same way he and Manny figured it out. Once we come to a number, once we come to a set number that I'm happy with, he's happy with, then we go to the customers, then we go to the promoters, the buyers. And then we get it done."
  • "He's the scared side. Let's be honest. He's not trying to have a real fight. He needs rules to protect him. I don't need rules. He can say he's this and he's that, but in reality he's scared sh--less. He is scared sh--less. If I decide to just fight him straight up, f--- the UFC, f--- MMA, f--- boxing, f--- sports fighting. Let's just say we fight. It would be the easiest fight ever."
  • "I know every single shot he's been hit with. I know every single shot he's been hurt with."

On having to wait for Dana White's approval for a Mayweather bout

"Nobody's my boss. I know Floyd likes to say Dana's my boss and that he decides, hell no. Nobody decides this. If they let people fight in jiu-jitsu tournaments, they can't stop me going to fight a boxing fight ... look, everyone just needs to know their place."

On his actual net worth

"Figure what Forbes figured, and then figure more. That's a Jay Z quote."

On his 'Billionaire strut' going viral

"I'm thinking (WWE owner) Vince McMahon must be pissed. But I don't give a f--- about Vince McMahon. I stole that walk (from him) and that walk is now mine. And not Vince or any of those p---ies over in the WWE will do anything about it. That's my walk, I created that walk, I made that walk."

On Ronda Rousey's hiatus and disappointing comeback

"She done what she had to do. She got away from the spotlight, she focused on her preparation. She got hit early and it went downhill, that's it, that's the fight game. It's a cruel business. But she handled it the way she should handle it and she came in in shape and that's it."

On superfights with Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, GSP

  • "What the f--- is Anderson Silva talking about? He keeps mentioning my name over and over again. Look, I'll fight any one of them. Make sure the number is right. Make sure the situation is right. ... I'm going to slap (Woodley) around. I will go in and slap that fool around the Octagon and take that third belt, no problem. That's a real situation."
  • "(Georges St-Pierre) is another one. I got a phone call saying GSP might come back. Did you see that union thing? What happened with that union thing? I'm watching this union thing, it was like a press conference, and I'm like, 'What the f--- is going on here?' They're standing up and they're all wearing the same T-shirt and saying 'Conor please, please help us out Conor.' And Georges is saying, 'I know he gets paid well, but he doesn't get paid enough.' I'm like, 'What the f--- are you talking about?' The only reason you're standing in the middle of that union is because you couldn't get the deal you want. You're the fakest of everyone up there."

On appearing at WrestleMania

"Never say never."
