It appears Vince Wilfork may have played his last down in the NFL.

While in Houston promoting Super Bowl LI at NRG Stadium next Sunday, the Texans' defensive tackle shared his thoughts on his potential retirement.

"I think I have," Wilfork said when asked if he's chosen to hang up his cleats, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

While he said he can't definitively state whether he will come back for a 14th season, he spoke about his playing career in the past tense.

"I left my soul on the field," Wilfork said. "I loved football. I had a passion for football," he added.

Wilfork spent the first 11 years of his career with the New England Patriots, winning the Super Bowl in 2004 and 2014. He played in Houston for the past two years and recorded 21 tackles in 15 games in 2016.
