Lincoln City continues to knock Championship clubs out of the FA Cup.

On Saturday, Lincoln defeated Brighton Hove & Albion 3-1 to continue its fairy-tale run in the FA Cup and progress to the fifth round for the first time in 130 years. The Imps entered the day having eliminated Ipswich Town in the fourth round, and 9,469 people - an all-seater record at Sincil Park - were on hand to watch the non-league club produce one of the biggest results in its history.

Brighton, top of the standings in the Championship, made nine changes for the fixture and opened the scoring in the 24th minute through Richie Towell, but Lincoln tallied three goals in the second half. Alan Power converted a penalty kick, Fikayo Tomori manufactured an own goal, and Theo Robinson, who scored twice against Ipswich, added a third.

Some of Lincoln's supporters were in line by 4:20 a.m. Monday to buy tickets for the match, even though they had until Wednesday to purchase them. Six years have passed since Lincoln was in the Football League, and the Imps haven't experienced much in the way of glory since Graham Taylor was the club's manager in the mid-1970s.

But under Danny Cowley, who taught physical education before becoming Lincoln's manager, the Imps are buzzing once again, and it will be fascinating to see who the club draws in the FA Cup fifth round.
