Watch: Wycombe gutted by last-gasp Spurs winner in 7-goal thriller

Like Jurgen Klopp earlier in the day, Mauricio Pochettino was made to rue ringing the changes in the FA Cup fourth round.

Well, almost.

Tottenham Hotspur's blushes were spared against visiting League Two side Wycombe Wanderers when Heung-Min Son exchanged passes with Vincent Janssen before his shot barrelled off unfortunate defender Joe Jacobson. The net bulged after the allotted six-minutes injury time.

Spurs took Saturday's FA Cup clash with a 4-3 triumph at White Hart Lane, putting their name in the hat for Monday's fifth-round draw.

Wycombe led 2-0 at half-time thanks to a Paul Hayes brace, but surrendered goals to Son and Janssen in the second period.

The Chairboys then went ahead 3-2 on 84 minutes when 36-year-old Gary Thompson rose to nod beyond Michel Vorm, but Dele Alli equalised five minutes later before Son cruelly denied the fourth-tier club a famous result at the death.

Wycombe is now left to prepare for matters in the lowest level of England's professional game.

"The last 10 minutes, I don't know where to start. It was after time, there was a penalty I thought was not a penalty," Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth told BBC Sport.

"The lads have done me and the town so proud. It was an outstanding effort from the boys. I am so proud, disappointed but it is now back to the reality of Exeter away."
