Hughes fights back to post a 2-under-par 70

Mackenzie Hughes shot a 2-under-par 70 at the Farmers Insurance Open in breezy conditions on the south course Friday.
Hughes started off making six straight pars, then had mixed in back-to-back birdies before adding another par at his ninth hole of the day.
The 26-year-old ran into some trouble on his back nine with a bogey and a double bogey on No. 12 and 13, but righted the ship with two birdies coming in.
