Minnesota United announced Tuesday the club has signed Finnish midfielder Rasmus Schuller to its inaugural MLS roster, penning the 25-year-old from Swedish outfit BK Hacken.

Schuller is the third signing of the day for the Loons, who also picked up MLS veteran defender Jermaine Taylor and one of its NASL squad members, Bernardo Anor.

Schuller brings plenty of experience for both club and country, having debuted at 17 years of age. He has 14 appearances for Finland and also featured in the nation's youth ranks, bringing quality that Minnesota head coach Adrian Heath said his team needs.

"He's the perfect age for our club at 25. He's an experienced national team player with Finland," Heath said. "When we were first looking at him he kept jumping out at us. We spoke to his national team coach and former head coach and each were incredibly complimentary of his talents and his character.

"He has incredible energy, a great left foot, he can do a bit of everything," Heath added. "He can tackle, win the ball, pass the ball and get forward - he's the box-to-box player we are looking for."
