'I'm a football player': LeBron brushes off Draymond's flagrant
LeBron James and Draymond Green are once again at odds.
James and Green got tangled up yet again on Monday when the two collided midcourt. Green stopped the fast break by barreling into James, who made a meal out of the contact by going down in rather exaggerated fashion. Frustrated with the call, Green mocked James for flopping.
After the game James brushed off the encounter.
"His shoulder hit me in the face. It happened so fast I didn't know who it was. I'm OK, I'm a football player," James told Carl Steward of the San Jose Mercury News.
The Warriors begged to differ. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said it looked like a "normal foul" while Kevin Durant said it was "nothing." Green said he was just trying to stop the fast break.
Confrontations between James and Green are somewhat commonplace. The two forwards exchanged pleasantries in last year's Finals, with James stepping over Green and the former throwing a punch towards James' nether regions in retaliation.
Green also reportedly called James a "b----" during that exchange in the Finals, to which James took exception by citing that he's married with kids.
