Bojan Krkic reportedly wants out.

According to Sky Sports News HQ, Krkic told Stoke City he wants to leave the Potters in the January transfer window should the right offer come in. The report comes three days after the Guardian published a story, saying Middlesbrough remains optimistic about its chances of securing the Spanish attacker in a £8-million transfer by the end of the month.

Mark Hughes is apparently believed to be willing to sell Bojan should Stoke secure its preferred transfer targets, including West Bromwich Albion's Saido Berahino.

"I'm not sure where we are with Saido Berahino," Hughes said three days ago. "We are probably getting to the point where we need to make a decision one way or another."

Bojan, who joined Stoke from Barcelona in June 2014, is struggling for minutes this season. The 26-year-old holds only nine appearances to his name in the 2016-17 Premier League, four of which have come as a substitute, and he is allegedly unhappy with his bit-part role at bet365 Stadium and keen to work alongside Aitor Karanka at Middlesbrough.
