Suarez scores 100th goal in all competitions for Barcelona
Make that 100 goals in 120 appearances for Luis Suarez.
On Wednesday, in the second leg of Barcelona's tie against Athletic Club in the Copa del Rey's round of 16, Suarez scored his 100th goal in all competitions for the Blaugrana, reaching the milestone with a beautiful volley at Camp Nou.
For an idea of just how little time he needed to hit the milestone, consider that Lionel Messi required 68 more appearances to tally his 100th goal in all competitions for Barcelona.

Coincidentally, the volley marked the 300th goal in all competitions scored by Barcelona's trident of Suarez, Messi, and Neymar.

"Very happy to be through," Suarez said after the final whistle. "The important thing about goal 100 is that it helped the team."
Of Suarez's 100 goals, 68 were scored in La Liga, 17 were tallied in European competition, eight were bagged in the Copa del Rey, and seven came from other tournaments.
