If his commitment video is any indication, four-star defensive back Darnay Holmes will fit right in with the bright lights of Los Angeles at UCLA.
The 5-foot-10, 195-pounder is the 5th-ranked cornerback in the class of 2017, and is listed 39th overall prospect on the ESPN 300.
Holmes' video dropped at the same time he was announcing his commitment during the U.S. Army All-American Game. When selecting his school live on the air, the California native reached past an Ohio State hat for the Bruins cap, which did not please his nephew in the slightest.
Holmes held a number of offers from Power 5 programs including USC, Clemson, Alabama, Florida State, and Oklahoma, before finally settling on UCLA.
He should immediately be able to step in and help improve the country's 43rd-ranked pass defense from 2016.
