Denis Guryanov scored four goals through the world juniors, saving his biggest for Thursday.
The Russian forward didn't waste much of the overtime period with the bronze medal on the line between Sweden and Russia. Guryanov scored the winner just 31 seconds into the extra frame, going backhand on Swedish netminder Felix Sandstrom.
With the victory, the Russians secured their seventh medal at the world juniors in as many years, a streak that includes one gold, three silver, and three bronze finishes.
