Stoke turns Lee Grant's Derby loan permanent for £1.3M

Stoke City has snapped up Lee Grant on a two-and-a-half year contract from Derby County for £1.3 million.
The 33-year-old had been on loan in the Potteries but his run of fine form has been rewarded by manager Mark Hughes handing him a permanent stay.
Grant's 15 league appearances have yielded six clean sheets, helping Stoke deal with the repeated injury issues to England international shot-stopper Jack Butland. When he arrived on a temporary stint stint in August, he proved a key replacement for veteran Shay Given, whose performances were partly culpable for some early-season struggles.
Stoke welcomes Wolverhampton Wanderers to Bet365 Stadium on Saturday for an FA Cup third-round clash.
