Chelsea equals Arsenal's single-season record with 13th straight win

Chelsea conceded two goals in a single match, but the Blues still came out on top. You could almost hear a collective sigh from Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal.

A wild, back-and-forth affair at Stamford Bridge on Saturday saw Antonio Conte's men claim their 13th consecutive Premier League victory with a 4-2 triumph over Stoke City seeing Chelsea equal the Gunners' record for consecutive wins in a single campaign.

It looked tenuous in the second half, but with Willian netting a brace and Diego Costa solidifying the result, the west London club maintains its stranglehold on top spot in the division, nine points ahead of the idle Reds, who meet City later today.

Since a 3-0 hammering at the hands of Arsenal in September - and Conte's shift to a 3-4-3 formation - Chelsea has been an unstoppable juggernaut, scoring 32 goals and shipping only four at the other end.

Conte's side will look to equal the all-time Premier League winning streak of 14 matches - also held by Arsenal - when the Blues make the short trip to White Hart Lane for an enticing clash with Tottenham on Jan. 4.
