Video shows Ray McDonald threatening, chasing ex-fiancee in 2015

A video showing former San Francisco 49ers defensive end Ray McDonald verbally threatening his ex-fiancee before she ran to the bathroom with their infant son while being chased was released by her attorney this week.

In the video of the May 25, 2015 incident, obtained by Deadspin's Lindsay Adler, McDonald's ex-fiance Kendra Scott is heard screaming "Stop!" before escaping from the defensive lineman by locking herself in a bathroom.

McDonald was arrested following the incident on suspicion of domestic violence and possible child endangerment. The Chicago Bears, who'd signed McDonald in March 2015, then released him. Two days later, he was arrested for violating a restraining order, and was charged with domestic violence, felony false imprisonment, child endangerment, and violating a court order.

He was ultimately not indicted on the felony false imprisonment and domestic violence misdemeanor charges.

The video and other information were released to the media Wednesday ahead of an "emergency request" Scott's attorney filed Thursday to stop McDonald's partial custody of their son.

McDonald was previously arrested for felony domestic violence in August 2014. The 49ers released him in December 2014 when it was revealed that he was being investigated by police for allegedly raping a woman at party he hosted.

McDonald still awaits a Jan. 6 court hearing for that alleged rape of an intoxicated person, along with a violation of his restraining order from when he allegedly went to Scott's home on May 27, 2015.
