Russell Westbrook was far from dominant to begin Thursday's contest against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The All-NBA guard recorded six turnovers and no assists in the opening quarter, becoming the first player in over 20 years to do so. It was also the most turnovers a player has recorded in a single quarter this season.
With a historically high usage rate, Westbrook has had difficulty holding onto the ball this season, sitting second in the entire league with 176 turnovers entering Thursday night.
In spite of Westbrook's carelessness with the ball, the Thunder trailed by just six points after one quarter of play.
