Watch: Oregon's Dillon Brooks drains game-winner to upset No. 2 UCLA

Scott Olmos-USA TODAY Sports

Oregon and UCLA gave us the game of the year Wednesday night in Eugene.

With the Bruins clinging to a one-point lead with eight seconds remaining, Dillon Brooks showed he's got ice in his veins.

Brooks found just enough space and time to drop a game winning 3-pointer with 0.8 seconds left to hand UCLA its first loss of the season and grab the 89-87 victory for the Ducks.

"We wanted to get him the last shot because he's not afraid to take it," Dana Altman told Tony Piraro of SB Nation after the game. "He hit a tough one. He's a competitor. He wanted that shot. We knew he was the guy to take it. I love the way he competes. He was special tonight."

The junior finished with 23 points and nine rebounds.
