Pistons' Jackson finds ways to tune out Van Gundy's 'little words'
It's no secret that the Detroit Pistons' season hasn't exactly gone as planned.
After entering the new season with high expectations, the Pistons have regressed significantly from last year's promising finish, sitting just 11th in the East through 33 games.
Even worse, it appears that Stan Van Gundy's high-strung approach has begun to wear on at least one player, as starting point guard Reggie Jackson says he's found a way to tune out his coach from time to time.
"He was just honest as usual. I dunno, a lot of yelling," Jackson told reporters following Monday's victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. "Sometimes you find a way to tune the little words out, but you know what the gist of the message is.
"You gotta find a way to get fired up and hope he doesn't have a heart attack on the sideline."

While things may look bleak at the moment, the Pistons are still just four games back of the No. 3 seed, and could find themselves back in a playoff position with a strong week.
