Washington State's Luke Falk to return for senior season

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

Washington State fans got a late Christmas gift Monday with quarterback Luke Falk returning for his senior season in 2017.

“It won’t be his last game,” coach Mike Leach told Stefanie Loh of the Seattle Times. Adding, "Any conversations we’ve had are between us, but I don’t believe he’s leaving.”

The 6-foot-4 signal-caller has been denying he'd skip his senior year and enter the 2017 NFL Draft throughout the season.

“I don’t know where the sources are coming from at all. If anybody knows me, I focus on one day at a time and focus on helping my team win. If I had to make a decision right now, I’d say I’m definitely staying,” Falk said in late October.

Falk threw for 4204 yards and 37 touchdowns this season and will face Minnesota in the Holiday Bowl on Tuesday.
