Westbrook vehemently denies celebrating Irving's game-winner
Russell Westbrook insists he wasn't as thrilled with Kyrie Irving's game-winner as it appeared.
While it sounded like Westbrook yelled, "Thank you, Kyrie!" as he ran down the tunnel during warmups Sunday - around the same time Irving and the Cleveland Cavaliers buried the Golden State Warriors - Westbrook said he would never do that, and was actually speaking to someone else entirely.
"I was talking to my trainer's daughter, whose name is Jamie," he said, with some irritation. "Thank you, Jamie."
Russell Westbrook comments on the video of him screaming in the tunnel. (Some NSFW language here): pic.twitter.com/vcp6fdfoCU

Westbrook also pointed out that he doesn't watch basketball games, and that Cavs-Warriors was no exception.
