It's time to flood the timeline with #NBAVote.

The NBA opened voting for the 2017 All-Star Game in New Orleans as of 11 a.m. ET ahead of a tasty slate for Christmas Day. Two guards and three forwards will be selected to start for their respective conferences.

Ballots can be cast on NBA.com, through the NBA app, through Google search, or through Twitter and Facebook with the hashtag #NBAVote followed by that player's first and last name, or with his handle. Each social media post may only include one player.

A new wrinkle for 2017 will see both media and players hold sway over the starters. Fan vote will account for 50 percent of the vote while media and players will each have 25 percent say. Coaches will select the reserves, as in previous seasons.

All-Star Weekend 2017 will take place between Feb. 17-19 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
