Cleveland Browns quarterback Robert Griffin III left Saturday's game against the San Diego Chargers after suffering a concussion.

Griffin was slow to his feet after taking a big hit in the fourth quarter and promptly went to the sideline to meet with the medical staff.

He was taken to the locker room for evaluation shortly thereafter, and the Browns later confirmed that he had been diagnosed with a concussion.

Putting together his most efficient performance since returning from a shoulder injury, the 26-year-old completed 17-of-25 passes for 164 yards before making his exit.

Cody Kessler, a third-round rookie who made eight starts earlier this season, entered the game following the injury.
