Matthew Stafford wasn't trying to make a fashion statement with his choice of gloves at practice Wednesday.
The Detroit Lions quarterback took reps with a special one-fingered glove on his throwing hand in an attempt to mitigate the discomfort caused by the dislocation and torn ligaments he suffered in Sunday's game.

Stafford tried out several gloves during that game, eventually settling on a white glove on his throwing hand. His new custom glove should allow him to feel more of the ball with his uninjured fingers.
