Here is a look at the Squad Up daily NBA fantasy picture for Saturday, December 10:

Dynamic Duos

  • SG James Harden (101K) & C Clint Capela (55K), Rockets (vs. Mavericks): In Harden, you're rostering a scoring machine with elite play-making. He also averages three assists per game to Capela alone. It wouldn't be a shock to see a triple-double from Harden and double-double from his center against an injury-plagued Mavericks squad.
  • PG Jeff Teague (68K) & C Myles Turner (64K), Pacers (vs. Trail Blazers): Teague and Turner often have to work in the margins around Paul George, but they're able to do so without stepping on each other's means of production. They also have chemistry together, with Teague assisting on 2.1 field goals by Turner per game.
  • C Marc Gasol (77K) & SG Tony Allen (45K), Grizzlies (vs. Warriors): With an average cap hit of just 61K, Gasol and Allen have played high-level basketball in the wake of Mike Conley's injury, combining for 37.3 points, 15.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 3.4 steals and 1.9 blocks per game.

Bargain Plays

  • Jusuf Nurkic (38K), Nuggets (at Magic): It's been an up-and-done season for Nurkic, though he's still averaging a career-high 9.7 points and 7.3 boards per game. Against the large and physically-imposing Magic frontcourt, expect the Bosnian Beast to see plenty of opportunities to stay on the floor.
  • PF Nikola Mirotic (34K), Bulls (vs. Heat): Mirotic can hit tournament value if he hits double-digit rebounds or if he catches fire on 3-pointers. With Hassan Whiteside on the floor, he's probably not in for a big night on the glass, but his floor spacing will be crucial, considering the Bulls' lack of dependable outside shooting and Whiteside's penchant for destroying lives in the paint.
  • SF Sam Dekker (31K), Rockets (vs. Mavericks): If the core rotation can take care of Dallas early, Dekker will be afforded big minutes off the bench in the second half. He's just over a week removed from scoring a career-high 17 points in what was a blowout over the Nuggets. It's easy to envision Dekker getting 10 shots off when all is said and done.

Top Fades

  • C Anthony Davis (116K), Clippers (at Pelicans): At this price, Davis just isn't a smart bet to return value. He'll have to contend with the presence of both Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan all night and won't have a healthy Jrue Holiday drawing defensive pressure away from him. He tallied 21 points and six rebounds in his last clash with the Clippers.
  • PG Darren Collison (46K), Kings (at Jazz): Collison has been effective in just over 30 minutes per game this season, but he's only shooting 37.1% on 3's and he's going to be hard-pressed to return big value against a defensively-minded Jazz squad featuring the menacing interior presence of Rudy Gobert.
  • SF Otto Porter (62K), Wizards (vs. Bucks): By all accounts, Porter is having a breakout campaign befitting of a former third-overall pick. He's also had a limited impact in his previous two games despite logging major minutes. A stable workload points to Porter correcting his recent streak, but against Giannis Antetokounmpo on Saturday, he'll be in tough.

Contrarian Options

  • PG Stephen Curry (65K), Warriors (at Grizzlies): Curry is miraculously under-priced on Saturday. On a packed slate full of premier -- and more expensive -- options at point guard, it's possible that the reigning MVP is overlooked by some players that don't bother to scroll through all the available options. At this price, he needs to be rostered.
  • C Brook Lopez (66K), Nets (at Spurs): Despite featuring the services of Kawhi Leonard, the Spurs' defense has been decidedly middle-of-the-pack, especially with Pau Gasol and LaMarcus Aldridge comprising the frontcourt. Look for Lopez to stretch the floor with his surprisingly adequate 3-point shooting.
  • PF Kenneth Faried (25K), Nuggets (at Magic): Faried is coming off of a "DNP - Coach's Decision" in the Nuggets' previous game, so there's a risk that he remains on the outside of the rotation. However, the Magic's frontcourt would necessitate the usage of Faried, if only to match size with size. At the minimum price, it's a minor gamble that could yield tournament value.
