Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer has been cleared by doctors and is expected to return as head coach for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Zimmer missed the Vikings' Week 13 loss to the Dallas Cowboys after undergoing emergency surgery to repair a detached retina last Wednesday.

Zimmer's eye is healing, but looked a little worse for wear as he addressed the media a week after surgery:

Zimmer has worn an eye patch in recent days and potentially could coach in it this weekend, which would surely make waves on social media.
