The only thing that evades Jeff Fisher more than a winning season is apparently the challenge flag.
The Los Angeles Rams head coach - who was reportedly given a two-year extension despite never leading the club to more than seven wins - wanted to challenge a catch by wide receiver Brian Quick that was ruled incomplete, but was unable to find the flag that should have been in his pocket.
Fisher ultimately won the challenge after the official took pity on him and accepted a verbal challenge, but it was at the expense of his dignity, as he was forced to rummage around in his pockets like an elderly man paying for milk with nothing bigger than a nickel.
