"The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" has plenty of motivation for his grudge match with Chael Sonnen.

Not only has the feud between Tito Ortiz and Sonnen become deeply personal, but the former UFC champion will undoubtedly be leaving it all in the cage for what could be the "final fight" of his 20-year career.

On Friday, Ortiz tweeted a tongue-in-cheek thank you to UFC president Dana White for moving a fight card that was initially scheduled to go head-to-head with Bellator 170 while also hinting at retirement:

This will be the second time that Ortiz has decided to hang up the gloves. In 2012, Ortiz walked away from the sport after losing a unanimous decision to Forrest Griffin in a trilogy-closing bout. The 41-year-old fighter returned to competition in 2014, going 2-1 for Bellator including a failed bid to win the promotion's light heavyweight title.

Bellator 170 takes place on Jan. 21 at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
