Report: USF's Taggart, Boise State's Harsin meet with Oregon AD
South Florida head coach Willie Taggart met with Oregon athletic director Rob Mullens on Thursday, a source told John Canzano of the Oregonian.
In addition to meeting with Taggart, the Ducks also met with Boise State head coach Bryan Harsin, according to Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports.
Taggart previously coached at Western Kentucky from 2010-12. In his four seasons at South Florida, the team improved its win total each year, going from a two-win team in 2013 to a 10-2 record this year.
Prior to becoming a head coach, he was the running backs coach at Oregon-rival Stanford from 2007-09.
Harsin has been in charge of the Broncos for the past three seasons, posting a 31-8 record while leading Boise State to appearances in the Fiesta and Poinsettia Bowl.
