Fisher unsure what changed with Dickerson after phone call

After previously confirming with the media that he had an issue with Eric Dickerson's comments about the team's poor performance, Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher says he doesn't know what the Hall of Fame running back is talking about.

Dickerson said on the radio Monday that he had been banned from the sidelines by Fisher during a phone call the two shared on Nov. 17. When speaking with media Tuesday, Fisher confirmed that he and Dickerson spoke, but claimed that he believed they resolved their issues.

"I stand behind what I talked about yesterday. He's welcome here," said Fisher on Tuesday, according to ESPN's Alden Gonzalez. "The last conversation we had was real positive. That was on Nov. 17.

"I got a text from him, moments after, saying, 'Thanks for the conversation. Best of luck. Have a good night. Go Rams.' So, I don't know what took place between then and now."

While Dickerson said he told Fisher that as long as he was head coaching, the Rams' legendary running back wouldn't be coming to any games, the coach claimed all issues were resolved. Fisher went on to again confirm he had issue with Dickerson's comments, but maintained that there is no conflict.

"He's totally entitled to his opinion. And he has every right to be critical," said Fisher, according to Gonzalez. "But as I told him in the conversation, you can't have it both ways. You can't be critical, and then come back and ask for this and ask for that. That's just common sense.

"And we got it resolved. Again, based on that last conversation I had with him and the text, it got resolved."

Fisher and Dickerson clearly have different views of how the conversation transpired.
