Report: Bears believe Trevathan tore ACL vs. Titans

Dennis Wierzbicki / USA TODAY Sports

Chicago Bears head coach John Fox told reporters after Sunday's loss to the Tennessee Titans that his team believes linebacker Danny Trevathan suffered a serious knee injury.

The team's fear is that Trevathan tore his ACL, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

Already without the suspended Jerrell Freeman, the Bears' linebacking corps is as thin as any in football.

Trevathan signed a four-year, $24.5-million contract with the Bears in March.
